Padosa.com was generated from an idea that we had based on our experience over the years helping small companies become more profitable.
For the past ten plus years, A2X Consulting, has been working with small businesses, with annual revenues under 200 million, by helping them prosper through setting and executing a clear strategy. We like to consider ourselves generalists – we are management consultants who work with companies to help them stay competitive, improve efficiency and increase revenue.
These days there is lots of talk out there about the benefits of going green. Through our work with a variety of clients in a variety of industries, we began to see that there was opportunity to be profitable while also being sustainable. Moving towards sustainability is also an excellent means to combat the economic downturn.
Here are just a few notable benefits to making your business sustainable:
- Reduce your operating costs
- Create opportunities to earn more revenue
- Improve the work environment
- Help you stay more competitive
So we decided to create a business around the concept of helping companies get started with their sustainability efforts. Thus, Padosa.com was born. In case you were wondering, Padosa is derived from a Hindi word for neighborhood. We think the word Padosa reflects our mission – to build a community of activists and enthusiasts and to provide them with the tools they need to influence the behavior of those they work with.
The best way to access our community is to chat with us and other members in our forum. In order to participate in the forum, you need to become a member. It is free after all. Please take the three minutes to register and then talk with us in the forum. Create a question or answer a post. Tell us what green initiative you are working on – join the conversation!
