I'm wondering what other small business owners are doing to generate publicity about their sustainability, and whether it's resulting in increased interest at all.

Thank you for the comment!
One of my favorite examples of publicity for going green is www.terracycle.net. They have a number of videos on their site that speak to how they are going about getting publicity. They have both an amazing story, and an excellent ability to get coverage. We also cover them in http://www.padosa.com/marketing/targ...k-impellizzeri . Hope this helps! Eric |

This is such a great topic and question. The founders of one of the companies featured in several articles on this website, Method Home, have said that one of the most important things about marketing "green" products is authenticity -- but that bragging about authenticity is inherently inauthentic. That said, Method Home appears to rely upon a more subtle message and their grassroots campaign "people against dirty." Check out their webstite at www.methodhome.com. I'm wondering what other ideas people have for marketing authenticity without appearing inauthentic??
